The Smiling Buddha Review accepts unsolicited submissions of poetry, short stories, essays, art and photography that satirize religion, the occult or mysticism.
Along with a brief bio, please submit only your best poem(s) (up to 5), essay (1), fiction (1), non-fiction (1), artwork or photography (2/2 unless part of a series). Type or paste plain text into the SUBMIT field below. Send other submissions as an e-mail attachment in RTF or Microsoft Word formats, ensuring the email contains a brief bio.
Images should be compressed JPGs (preferred) or TIFs. Audio submissions must be in MP3 format. Send video in any one of the following formats: (AVI, M4A, MP4, MPG, MOV, WAV, or WMV). However, keep in mind that each video submission must be less than 70MB and optimized to play at a width of 400-450 pixels. Send all these types of submissions as attachments to an email that includes a brief bio, addressed to thesmilingbuddhareview (at) gmail (dot) com.
Please keep in mind that TSBR is an art and literary magazine, not an outlet for rantings of the disenchanted.
